A personal reflection on rebuilding after divorce, growing her family through adoption, and transforming life's challenges into purpose and community impact.

About Alana Griffin

I help individuals, families, and communities heal, grow, and thrive through trauma-informed wellness, storytelling, mindfulness, and community connection.

The Story

Healing, leadership, and legacy, woven together.

Alana Griffin is a community facilitator, wellness advocate, entrepreneur, and healing-centered strategist based in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.

A lifelong builder, creator, and advocate, Alana has spent decades bringing ideas to life, building programs, creating community, and helping others recognize their own strength and resilience.

After spending many years in Corporate America and achieving professional success, Alana found herself facing a different calling: motherhood. As a mother navigating the realities of raising children, including supporting a child with unique needs, she began reevaluating what success, balance, and purpose truly meant.

Rather than continuing to build a life around corporate expectations, she made the courageous decision to build a career around the life she wanted for herself and her family. That decision led her into entrepreneurship, community leadership, advocacy, and healing-centered work.

Today, Alana designs and facilitates programs, healing circles, wellness initiatives, and community-centered spaces that support individuals and families in moving from survival to healing and from healing to legacy. Her work bridges trauma-informed care, mindfulness, storytelling, youth wellness, maternal advocacy, and community transformation.

At her core, Alana believes that healing is not something we do alone. Through connection, community, and culturally grounded support, individuals and families can reclaim their power, rewrite their stories, and create lasting change for generations to come.

It's a journey she has lived.

Her mission is simple: helping individuals and communities heal, grow, and reclaim their power through healing-centered wellness, advocacy, and community care.

Trauma-Informed & Healing Work

Alana is a trauma-informed entrepreneur specializing in healing-centered community engagement, wellness education, mindfulness practices, and restorative programming. She is a trained Trauma Resiliency Protocol (TRP) Practitioner and completed state-approved trauma training through Infinite Lifestyle Solutions.

Her approach integrates trauma-informed care, nervous system regulation, mindfulness, journaling, peer support, and holistic wellness practices to create spaces where individuals and families can heal, connect, and thrive.

Alana is a graduate of Beams to Bridges, completing 50 hours of comprehensive mental health training and education. She is also completing a 200-hour Raja Yoga Teacher Training through Yoga Roots On Location, deepening her understanding of mindfulness, breathwork, movement, and holistic wellness practices.

She is the creator of "Move, Breathe, Believe with Ms. Alana," a youth mindfulness and yoga series focused on confidence-building, emotional wellness, and self-awareness.

Vision & Future Impact

Alana Griffin's long-term vision is to establish a holistic wellness center that brings together mental wellness, mindfulness, advocacy, storytelling, herbalism, yoga, and community care under one roof.

Through her work as an entrepreneur, community advocate, herbalist, author, and wellness leader, she is committed to expanding access to culturally responsive healing and support for individuals, families, and communities.

She integrates trauma-informed practices, mindfulness, community engagement, and holistic wellness into her work while creating opportunities for individuals and families to heal, connect, and thrive.

Whether leading healing circles, advocating for families, mentoring community members, facilitating wellness programs, or building innovative initiatives, Alana remains committed to fostering environments rooted in empowerment, resilience, and collective care.

Her vision is to create a place where people can access healing, education, support, and wellness resources in a welcoming and culturally responsive environment.

Her work is guided by a simple belief: healing happens in community, and everyone deserves access to spaces where they feel seen, supported, and valued.
